Carmen Van Praet
Carmen Van Praet (1987) graduated in September 2009 as Master in contemporary history at the University of Gent. She wrote a dissertation on the punishment of the economic collaboration in the timber- and furniture sector after the Second World War. On the basis of criminal files she analysed the persecution and jurisdiction by the courts-martial of Kortrijk, Mechelen, Brussels and Liège.
Since January 2010, she participates in a research project on the work experiences of the women workers in the E. Reitz Uniformwerke in Merksem during the Second World War
