Mélanie Bost

Mélanie Bost has studied modern history and Non-European Art at the Free University of Brussels (ULB). She dedicated her dissertation and several other publications to the perceptions of the Ottoman Empire in modern times.
Since September 2007 she has been working at the Ceges/Soma as a doctoral candidate with scholarship on the project 'Justice and Society. Sociopolitical History of Justice Administration in Belgium 1795-2005'.
Her research focuses on the impact of the First World War on the Belgian judicial system.
