Nico Wouters


Nico Wouters (° 1972) is doctor in de hedendaagse geschiedenis (UG) en gastdocent bij het dep. Geschiedenis van de UA.


Zijn onderzoeksdomeinen betreffen (lokale) bestuurlijke collaboratie, overgangsjustitie en -processen, oorlogsherinnering en -verwerking (ook m.b.t. erfgoed).


Hij werkt bij het SOMA sinds april 2011 waar hij het project 'Justice and Reconciliation' (transitional justice) coördineert en waar hij bij een aantal projecten (Erfgoed en WO II in noord-Limburg; steden in oorlog) en bij internationale projecten binnen EUCOWAS betrokken is. Vanaf 1 september 2011 leidt hij de afdeling academische activiteiten.
