Archive fonds description :
The collection Liberation of Antwerp was created in the course of a long process during which various types of documents were brought together. These collected documents contain witness accounts from key actors of the liberation, German and British military records and archives about the port of Antwerp. The collection also holds the archives of Julien Bouhon about his activity as resistance fighter and numerous press clippings. Finally, several personal files of resistance fighters are also comprised in the collection, which shed new light on their individual situation and their activities within the Resistance.
