Matthew Haultain-Gall

Matthew Haultain-Gall completed a PhD at the University of New South Wales (Sydney, Australia) in 2017 and he is the author of The Battlefield of Imperishable Memory: Passchendaele and the Anzac Legend, which was published by Monash University Publishing in 2021. In addition to research carried out as an independent historian, which has focused on the cultural and social impacts of war, he has worked at the CegeSoma as a researcher on different European Holocaust Research Infrastructure (EHRI) projects, namely EHRI-2 and EHRI-Preparatory Phase (EHRI-PP). In February 2024, he has returned to the CegeSoma now as a researcher for the EHRI-Implementation Phase (EHRI-IP) project (02/2024).
