Françoise Muller

Françoise Muller (°1981) studied history at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). She then defended a doctoral thesis at the Université catholique de Louvain (UCL) which focused on the history of the Court of Cassation as seen from the perspective of relations between the legislative, executive and judiciary authorities. This thesis was acclaimed by the Académie royale de Belgique. She also holds a bachelor’s degree and is a candidate for Political [MH1] sciences at the University of Saint-Louis.

She worked as a researcher at the Centre d'Histoire du Droit et de la Justice, UCL for several years. She also briefly worked as an assistant in the Faculty of Law and Criminology at the same university. She started working at CegeSoma in May 2011. At the centre, she was integrated into a team researching the assassination of Julien Lauhaut, president of the Belgian Communist Party, in 1950.

She left CegeSoma on 30 June 2014.
