Looted Art and the Art Market: Nazi Art Theft in Belgium, Europe, and its aftermath

On 11 and 12 June 2026, the BRAIN project, ProvEnhance (Enhancing the provenance data of the collections of the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium (RMFAB) since 1933. Scientific study, digital valorisation and narrative in context), coordinated by the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium (KMSKB) and of which the State Archives/CegeSoma is one of the partners, is organising a colloquium on Looted Art and the Art Market: Nazi Art Theft in Belgium, Europe, and its aftermath.

Proposals are welcome until 31 January 2026.
